Pim Kops (1957) started developing his own photos in the early seventies at high school in Amsterdam and in the darkroom of the photographer Cas Oorthuys.
Pim is a member of the Dutch band De Dijk and has been since the early eighties. He has recorded and toured with the band for over thirty years.
He’s made two albums with the Avalanche Quartet and performs with them when De Dijk are not touring.
In 1997, whilst still playing music, Pim rediscovered his love for drawing and painting. He exhibited three paintings at the Rembrandt 2000 exhibition in The Hague. His work has also been on display at the Boijmans Van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam and the Rembrandt House in Amsterdam.
