The self-published photo booklet Boyd en de wereld (Boyd and the world) is a small but intimate family essay about the life of Boyd, who suffers from a form of autism. A series of black and white photos in various formats are composed of the life of this 11-year-old Dutch boy. Often light-hearted and loving, the photos also maintain an air of struggle and confusion. The complexity extends to the book’s pages, small and delicate. Published as a limited edition of 365 copies, by Michiel Landeweerd.
