Bookbinding: French Cross
French Cross Binding is ideal for photo books with an open spine or hardcover. It gives a possibility for the book to be opened completely flat. It requires gluing and special tools and therefore is dedicated to more advanced bookbinders, although beginners are welcome. The spine is decorative and can be left open, but generally this technique is very good for most photography books.
• Creating a notebook with an open spine
• Learning the French Cross binding technique
• Option to costumize: bring photographs
4 hours. There is a necessity for leaving finished notebooks overnight for the glue to dry.
