About us

Our store will be open again from June 27th!
For now, only on weekends.
On Saturday and Sunday you are super welcome between 12:00 and 18:00.

Please note that we adhere to the 1.5m corona measures and deal wisely with each other.

On weekdays there is no access to the store. The sales via the webshop will continue. On every working day we will send ordered books to the buyers.
In principle, we send orders that are within before 16:00 the same day.

Do you need a book more urgently?
Chat, email or call the store.
Then we’ll see if we can come up with a solution.

The PhotoQ Bookshop is a specialty shop for photo books, especially of journalistic, documentary and artistic nature. These are often small editions and specially designed books. Many are produced by small publishers, or photographers themselves, who publish the books.

We understand that online sales are useful, but visiting a real store, especially for photo books, is a great way to get in touch. Visitors can grab books, browse, feel the cover and feel the paper, smell the ink and assess the quality of the print. The importance of that physical experience gives the photo book a good chance of survival as an important photographic medium in times when digital forms determine communication.

Since August 2019, the PhotoQ Bookshop is part of World Press Photo.
Edie Peters is the store manager.
